# Save views and cohorts

A **saved view** remembers a query and table layout. A **cohort** remembers a
query as a named population that other workflows can reuse.

## Save a view

1. Build the query you want to keep.
2. Enter a **View name**, for example `prod-openai-failures-this-week`.
3. Pick a scope: **Personal** (only you), **Project**, or **Organization**.
4. Click the **Save current view** button next to the name.

Saved views appear in the **Saved views** menu above the query. Pick one to
re-run the exact query.

## Save a cohort

A cohort is the right choice when another workflow needs the *population*, not
the layout — for example, when you want to run an evaluation against every trace
that matched a query.

1. Build the query.
2. Enter a name in **View name**.
3. Click the **Save current query as cohort** button.

Saved cohorts appear in the **Cohorts** menu, and other workflows can read them
through the `get_logs_cohorts` API operation.

## Share a view

With a saved view selected, use **Copy saved-view share URL** to get a URL that preserves the filters without transferring raw-data
authority. The recipient can see the same filtered list but cannot export raw
payloads unless they have the admin scope.
